Community Manager

The Wing is seeking a Community Manager who will directly oversee member experience, satisfaction and overall growth of membership base. This role reports to The Wing’s Community Director.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and attend community initiatives designed to create connections through meaningful introductions, programming and events, and digital communication.
  • Create personal connections with Wing members through multiple touch points
  • Communicate and work with Wing team to ensure highest level of member satisfaction
  • Identify and facilitate ways to connect Wing members both in and out of the space
  • Act as sounding board for member feedback and solve for issues to ensure experience quality and satisfaction
  • Work in tandem with Community Director to oversee onboarding process for new members
  • Analyze member usage and satisfaction to understand trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Work in tandem with Community Director to plan outreach based on data trends
  • Work with Community Director to oversee and manage membership process
  • Promote Wing to prospective members, conduct open houses, field prospective member questions
  • Oversee membership packets and informational/promotional materials designed for prospective members

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 year working experience in Hospitality or Community Building

Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Hire + train your part time team for Front Desk
  • Create and manage part time staff schedule
  • Have a weekly 1:1 growth and development meeting with GM
  • Coordinate monthly staff meetings/outings with part time team
  • Create/update staff information document with important information, dates, infractions about each part time employee
  • Create development plans for your part time employees, meet and update monthly
  • Oversee all ordering of supplies in The Space using Negotiatus platform (+ other approved vendors)
  • Communicate all vendor needs to GM
  • Keep space looking and functioning on brand
  • Be in The Space 5 days/week, flexible with schedule as it may shift or change to support events in The Space  (one weekend per month)
  • Manage the part time team through creating expectations and holding staff accountable

Cafe Team Member (Part time)

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receive, date and organize food and beverage orders
  • Prep food for café menu
  • Prepare food orders for members with confidence
  • Process payments
  • Work closely with staff to delivery stellar customer experience
  • Provide high-volume hospitality during events, crowded service hours
  • Work small and large events; scheduled mornings, evenings, occasional weekends
  • Maintain a level of professionalism with all members and guests

Key Qualities

  • Deliver high level hospitality and customer service to our members
  • Flexible in schedule, able to support evenings, weekends and large events
  • Team player; lends a hand to support all team members and community members in The Space
  • Self-starter, takes initiative
  • Passionate and knowledgeable in hospitality and restaurant industry
  • Knowledgeable about coffee, food, wine, cocktails

Experience Requirements

  • Food Handler’s License
  • Experience working in Cafés and/or restaurants; barista/bartending experience is preferred
  • Wine and Cocktail knowledge/experience
  • Must be able to safely lift 20-30lbs of dishware/café inventory
