General Manager (SOHO, BROOKLYN, DC)

The Wing is seeking a General Manager who will support the needs of the Space and its operations.  This role will directly oversee staff, daily ordering, support Events in The Space and address day to day facility needs.  The General Manager will report directly to the Regional Manager and support the development of all part time staff.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Hire + support training of a part time team for Front Desk and Cafe
  • Create and manage part time staff schedule
  • Have a weekly 1:1 growth and development meeting with Regional Manager
  • Coordinate monthly staff meetings/outings with part time team
  • Create development plans for your part time employees, meet with team and update monthly
  • Oversee all ordering of supplies in The Space using systems in place
  • Communicate all vendor needs to Operations team
  • Manage Space supply ordering budgets
  • Manage food and beverage ordering and budgets
  • Keep space looking and functioning on brand, following Brand Standard Operating Procedures
  • Be in The Space 5 days/week, flexible with schedule as it may shift or change to support events in The Space (including one weekend shift per month)
  • Manage the part time team through creating expectations and holding staff accountable
  • Oversee and support Cleaning Staff and cleaning needs throughout The Space
  • Ensure an excellent experience for all members, prospective members and guests while in The Space

Experience Requirements:

Community Manager (DC)

The Wing is seeking a Community Manager in DC who will serve as the customer-facing liason between members and management. This role works closely with their local membership base and is chiefly focused on crafting meaningful connections between members. Community Manager will report directly to the Director of Community.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Attending programming events to interface with members
  • Planning and arranging community focused events like member breakfasts, member drinks, etc
  • Connecting members both in and out of the space
  • Conducting Open Houses and fielding any and all potential member questions
  • Work in tandem with Community Director to plan outreach to maximize member engagement
  • Identify and act on opportunities to connect members
  • Working in tandem with Community Director and Manager to conduct end to end Onboarding process for new members (conducting tours, answering questions, etc)
  • Work in tandem with Community team to maintain integrity of sales data and sales process
  • Work alongside Community Analyst to facilitate weekly and monthly reporting

Experience Requirements:

• 5 years experience in Hospitality or Community focused position

Brand Partnerships Coordinator

The Wing is seeking a Brand Partnerships Coordinator to support the team with partnership development and execution.  This role reports to The Wing’s EVP of Brand Partnerships. Ideal candidate is a driven self-starter who prides themselves on nailing the details while keeping the big picture in mind. We are looking for a clear communicator who loves to research, write, think, create, develop and execute.

 

Administrative support:

  • Assist with calendar and contact management
  • Assist team as needed
  • Oversee intern (if applicable)
  • Oversee and track flow of client proposals
  • Catalog brand contacts and target lists

 

Pre-sale:

  • Research brands and create dossiers of information
  • Write and compile client proposals, pitches, and decks as needed by team
  • Create timeline and budget for pitches as needed
  • Compile sales materials with latest information (audience, news and announcements)
  • Compile reference and image library for presentation purposes
  • Maintain database of competitive research and good ideas crowdsourced from team

 

Post-Sale:

  • Play key role in execution of promotional plan with internal Wing teams (social, email, signage, etc.)
  • Assist team as needed in activation phase with all necessary tasks
  • Provide assistance to team on-site at events where necessary/appropriate
  • Compile information for recaps and case studies
  • Ensure budgets are closed in partnership with Head of Events & Logistics
  • Check in with local events managers on RSVPs

 

Experience requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills

Events Manager (DC)

The Wing is seeking an Event Manager who will manage all aspects of planning, coordination and production of events at The Wing’s DC location. This role reports to The Wing’s Director of Partnerships & Experiences.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop new and exciting programming ideas for The Wing’s event calendar
  • Facilitate all aspects of event planning, coordination and production of events at The Wing’s DC location
  • Manage, organize and report incoming event and programming inquiries
  • Provide detailed reports of pre and post event logistics
  • Manage production of event collateral and assets as directed
  • Track and reconcile monthly event budget
  • Pro-active communication with the Community team to ensure the highest level of event success and member satisfaction
  • Work with Programming Coordinator to update events calendar and facilitate member communication throughout The Wing’s channels
  • Work with the social media team to capture, distribute and archive event content
  • Liaise with internal teams, coordinating logistics and event needs in clear and concise terms
  • Communicate status updates of events and projects on an ongoing basis

  • Assist with and lead on-site event preparation, from ideation to execution to post event wrap
  • Manage and organize incoming event and programming inquiries
  • Assist in the tracking, upkeep, and analysis of events data

Front Desk (SOHO, BROOKLYN)

The Wing is seeking a part time Front Desk Team Member who will work to support the daily needs of the Space, Events, and the Members with sincere hospitality! This role reports to the General Manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting and checking in our members and their guests
  • Providing warm, thoughtful, solution-oriented customer service
  • Providing tours and onboarding sessions to new members
  • Maintaining the beauty of our space (straightening chairs, removing empty coffees, fluffing a pillow)
  • Administrative duties: Answering phones, delivering messages, updating member profiles
  • Monitoring security and safety of building
  • Receiving packages and deliveries
  • Keyholder
  • Supporting GM for special events setup and breakdown
  • Special Projects for Founders and GM on an as needed basis

Cafe Team Member (SOHO, BROOKLYN)

The Wing is seeking a part time Cafe Team Member who will work directly in the preparation, production and service of the food, liquor and wine on our cafe menu.  This role will support daily needs in the Space, as well as Event Support. This role reports to the General Manager.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receive, date and organize food and beverage orders
  • Prep food for café menu
  • Prepare food orders for members with confidence
  • Process payments
  • Work closely with staff to delivery stellar customer experience
  • Provide high-volume hospitality during events, crowded service hours
  • Work small and large events; scheduled mornings, evenings, occasional weekends
  • Maintain a level of professionalism with all members and guests

 

Key Qualities:

  • Deliver high level hospitality and customer service to our members
